Diagnosed with LCIS Classic Type of the left Breast 2 Weeks ago

I was given this diagnosis and then I had to go in for an MRI guided biopsy of my right breast as they had seen some NME and couldn’t tell what it was, so now I wait for those results. I should get those anytime now hopefully. I have appointment with an oncologist and a breast surgeon already though in 2 weeks. If LCIS is nothing to worry then why am I seeing them? I hope it’s so we can talk about a double mastectomy because I’m legit scared of cancer. My sister nearly died, and my mom? Well who knows, she refused to ever go to the Dr and she passed away a few years ago at age 64 from cardiac arrest. I just hope insurance will cover it, as I am totally leaning that way.

Results of left breast : LCIS Classic type. Sclerosing adenosis and micro calcifications. Negative for invasive carcinoma.
