'VE BEEN OVERTHINKING LATELY and I was thinking about fusions. Rebecca Sugar, in a tiktok confirmed that fusions appearance and feats, ect, depends on how the people in the fusion see each other. Because Steven is technically a fusion between a human and a gem, whatever Steven thinks of himself is what he will become because both sides of Steven are STEVEN. This could be why when he started believing he was a monster he BECAME one.
