Taxi ride in Athens

We will be traveling to Athens this Oct. Our hotel is about 15 mins walk from syntagma station. If I take the metro from airport with my luggages to syntagma station, how easy is it to flag down a taxi from there to the hotel? Will the driver turn me down when he/she realize it will only be a few mins taxi ride? So they change extra for luggages? Thanks
