05 E46 m3 convertible top closes but doesnt open

So I tried using my car after a few weeks of it being parked and notice an issue. I left the lights on last time and the car was dead. After jumping the car the “close top light” was blinking meaning I didnt fully close the top before it died.

So now the top doesnt open at all. However when you manually open it, it will close just fine electronically. All wires were examined and confirmed intact, trunk divider is in the right position. The fuse looks good too and the switch gets power as it illuminates. No fluid leak or anything wrong with the motor either.

What could be the issue here?
