I'm on episode 6 and I think I missed something

There are three new victims on the whiteboard after Ballard returns from Crestline. How did the team discover Kathy Goodman? I thought Denise McKenzie was the newly discovered victim along with prior-suspect-victim Mike Garrison, having ran away together with the van in the past. Was Goodman, instead, the previously unidentified remains found near Garrison's remains? If so, how does the team know that McKenzie was a victim or even deceased?
