I have an saline sonohysterogram and I am freaking out

I have this procedure on monday and the last time I just had to have my cervix swabed I was in so much pain and they couldnt get to it easily that I had to be under anesthesia. For this procedure I was told to take ibuprofen or Tylenol. I guess I am looking for answers, if I can request this done under anesthesia or if anyone has any experience, what helped you?
