ECCTIS verification issue?

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping to get some insights or see if anyone has faced a similar situation with ECCTIS (NARIC).

I submitted my ECCTIS application on July 8th. On July 16th, I received a status update stating that ECCTIS had contacted my university to verify the English proficiency of my graduation.

I immediately contacted my university to follow up. They checked all their official email inboxes (including spam and junk folders) and confirmed they haven’t received any verification request in my name.

I then reached out to ECCTIS. They told me that the verification is being handled by a third party working on their behalf, and they can’t provide any contact details or specifics on how or when the communication was sent.

After a week, I contacted the university again. They double-checked all their accessible emails and confirmed again — no request has come through.

ECCTIS continues to give me the same standard response, and my application status still shows as "Awaiting Verification." The deadline for verification is August 6th, and I’m seriously concerned nothing will be resolved in time.

Has anyone else been in this situation? What happened in your case? What should I do if the deadline passes and ECCTIS doesn’t receive a reply, especially when the university never received anything in the first place?
