Are We Overreacting / Jumping the Gun as a Fan Base?

You’ve probably guessed this is another Isak post.

Lately, I’ve seen a wave of comments on X and other forums calling him a snake, a rat, and saying they never want to see him in black and white again. Honestly, I think that’s a massive overreaction to a situation that’s been blown way out of proportion.

So far, nothing official has come from Isak’s camp or either club involved; the only confirmed fact is that he’s injured. Given his history, that’s hardly unbelievable. Everything else has been “sources” and “leaks” allegedly from his agent or team, but in today’s click‑driven world, it’s almost impossible to separate genuine information from rage‑bait.

As for his training in Spain, is that really such a big deal? He’s long had his own trusted trainers and medical specialists, and choosing to rehab at his old club could be as simple as preferring the facilities, climate, or familiarity. If Botman decided to do rehab with his personal trainers at Lille while the squad was touring Asia, would the reaction be anywhere near as harsh?

The real moment of truth will be when the squad returns from Asia next week. My view? He stays and signs a new deal with a hefty release clause. Until then, judging him based on speculation feels premature.
