Dashboard ≠ HUD re: tyres?

As per the title. I did a little AI stint earlier in the McLaren 720 but noticed whilst the dash was showing all tyres at green the HUD widget showed them as blue.

So I drove a few laps to see if it would gradually change but no, dash stayed a solid green for reach tyre whilst the widget still blue.

A known bug? Or am I missing something here?
