I hope something unfortunate happens to coach Hong Myung-bo that leads him to voluntarily resign.

Not something devastating or deeply harmful, but just enough to make him step down from the national team. He doesn’t have the support of the public, and even the national team players — who, as teammates, are defending him — are now facing criticism from the fans because of it.

His tactics offer no excitement or promise. He’s stuck using outdated strategies from the early 2010s. Even in Ulsan, I believe the team’s success was more about the strength of the squad than his coaching. Jeonbuk was also going through a tough period at the time, which contributed to Ulsan’s advantage.

Coach Hong Myung-bo is completely ruining what could be the last World Cup for Son Heung-min and Lee Jae-sung, as well as the incredible potential of this talented generation — players like Kim Min-jae, Hwang Hee-chan, Hwang In-beom, Lee Kang-in, Oh Hyeon-gyu, and Bae Jun-ho.
