Why people talk over me or ignore when I say something?
When I'm around my family and we're having a conversation, whenever I try to say something they talk over me and even raise their voice over mine, then totally ignore whatever I said. I'm 30 years old I'm tired of being said I'm too old for some stuff (they're still in denial about my diagnosis even tho I really struggle with everything since a kid) but meanwhile infantilized too. Then ask me why am I quiet or just talk to me when I'm on my phone after a while because I'm left out of the convo. So I cannot even be on my own either. They also interrupt, it's like I have to battle to be heard or even considered. Does anyone else deal with this? It really boils my blood to be fair, I really don't know how yo avoid feeling like a loser after being treated like this. I'm also a trans man, so it gives me dysphoria too because this doesn't happen with my other male cousins, just with me. :-(
