Off Peak Buisness Ideas (Kayak rental)

Hello fellow entrepreneurs!

I have recently started a Kayak rental and tour buisness. For year one, things are going pretty well with around 20k (euros) in the bank so far and two peak season months left to go.

The issue I face is the looming winter, not looking to disclose location but I will say its pretty cold, dark and wet here in the winter...

I'm located in the city center and work out of a shop in a harbour which turns into a bit of a ghost town in the winter.

The original plan was to get some bar work over the winter however it would be awesome to find somthing a little more fulfilling and productive.

For context we do get tourists here during the winter months but it definitely decreases.

Maybe a long shot but has anyone faced a similar situation, I think the long term plan is to grown the summer trade to the point that I can make enough to spend the winter enjoying the fruits of my labour but thats a little way off yet!

TLDR: what does kayak tour man do when the rivers frozen 🤔
