Bic's BODYMARK temporary tattoo markers and Hickies

Hello! Has anyone used these markers to draw over hickies? I got them to draw hearts over my partners hickies, but I realized that it might be dangerous?

I've looked up, and found in general you don't want to draw on your skin with regular Ink, especially on bruises, or in our case hickies,

And though Its safe to kiss the temporary tattoos once they are dry, it's probably not wise to suck on them or hickey them. Which isn't really a problem.

But what I really want to know is if it's safe to use THESE temporary markers on hickies that are already there. Everything I've found says no, but it's always in reference to regular ink, which I am not using.

I have a feeling that a lot of people probably just use regular marker on their bruises and marks all the time, and I'm overthinking this just a tad... I just care about them, and I want to make sure I can give them the best picture before they decide for themselve's if they want to risk it.

Any experiences of insites, even with regular markers, is much appreciated.

I specifically got the party pack color set with the white, purple, pink, and blue ones.
