Troponin and Anemia
I’m 39F, living in Canada, a month ago I felt shortness of breath, shoulder pain, chest pain that wasn’t going away, more than a week later I went to the ER they told me to get anemia blood tests(ferretin 14) at walkin clinics.
Since then my symptoms kept changing, my chest tightness is gone but I now have severe nasal congestion, struggling to breathe with both nose and mouth. I can’t remember when is the last time I took a deep breath. The results from the walkin clinics said I have low iron, which I started to take the supplements and eat better, but the doctor said my ECG said I had a heart attack, I came back to ER and there the Troponin T level is now 4ng, an up from <3ng from 3 weeks ago. My MCV(79.8),MCH(24.7), MCHC(310) are all low.
Did I have a heart attack ? Will it get better ? Heart muscle if broken and anemia ? Can I fly ? Not right now but if I survive all this may be after some weeks. Thank you
