How to drive in greece ? “STOP”

Help!

Hello, my wife and I are currently on a road trip through Greece, and I’m surprised—especially by the roundabouts, where instead of a “give way” sign, there is a “stop” sign. What surprises me even more is that no one seems to respect the stop sign, and we often encounter honking, even at railway crossings. In Slovakia, if you don’t stop at a “stop” sign, you can lose your driver’s license. What is different in your country? How do your rules possibly differ from the rest of the EU? Let me know if you’d like a slightly more formal or informal version!
