eviction/breach of privacy help

23f student. i’ve been working to find 2 roommates for my apartment for months now as i was told i would be evicted and sued if i didn’t leave if i didn’t fill the spots by september. one of the roommates i found just moved in to sublet for august before the lease starts and the other has been approved- though she hasn’t been told this yet and here’s why- the landlord, without explanation, said yesterday another group of 3 wants the spot so he’s forcing us to move to a downstairs unit. he has not provided me any information about why this group has been given priority, and every time i try to get more information he threatens to sue me and my mom who is my cosigner. instead of calling me to tell me about this situation, he came into my apartment and INTO MY BEDROOM UNANNOUNCED where i was laying on my bed working. this has never happened before and, if the downstairs apartment he wants me in wasn’t enough of a dump, i don’t really feel safe living in this building after this situation. i don’t know how to handle this without him sending lawyers after my mom and i. any advice on how i can handle this would be amazing.
