My dream happened 2 days after, what could it mean?

Hi everyone! Last sunday, I suddenly dreamed about my ex. In my dream, we were texting, catching up, just having a light conversation. He then told me that he is now working in a new company (I don’t think I got the name) because he already resigned from his previous one. For context we broke up because we were in an LDR and we just didn’t survive the distance. At the end of my dream, we saw each other and we both smiled. I felt really happy even after I woke up, but I realized it can never be real as he said he already resigned from his previous company because I thought it would be impossible for now.

2 days after, I learned that he actually came home. Our break up never had a closure so I reached out with an intention of asking to meet and talk. I chatted him to confirm if he really did go home, and he replied with something that surprised me. He said yes he’s home and now for good, he resigned to fulfill his promise to me. And then I realized, it was just like what happened in my dream. Could it be just a mere coincidence?
