No bleeding post op?

Hi all,

Just a question regarding if absence of bleeding is normal.

For context, I’m currently almost 7 weeks post op right now. For me, bleeding stopped about 2 days after surgery, and I haven’t had any since. I’ve heard that there’s supposed to be some as the stitches begin to dissolve, but I haven’t seen anything. It’s worrying me a bit because I’ve heard of people who’ve still had their stitches in tact past 8 weeks.

I’m definitely grateful that there hasn’t been any for dysphoria reasoning haha, but I am worried that something’s up.

My post op appt with my surgeon is in another week or so, but I’d figure I’d ask here as well.
