is a transfer to fast possible?

if i go to a HEC recognised uni and apply for a transfer to fast. i heard i have to apply via admission process again but if i do that and get selected would i be exempted of courses or sems like e.g if i join after my second semester would i have to repeat the entire first year at fast or would i join the 3rd sem
