Have you ever tried valuing your side hustle just to see?

Been running a side project for a couple of years mostly freelance consulting, growing slowly but steadily.

I’ve never really thought of it as something to “value” it just brings in some extra income.

But lately, I’ve been wondering: if I ever wanted to exit, or even just take on a collaborator, is there a way to estimate what it’s worth?

Has anyone here tried putting a number on their side project even just out of curiosity?
