Mk7.5 golf gti performance not having a rimless rear mirror?

Recently went from a 7.5 match into a 7.5 gti Performance (2019) and noticed the rear view mirror isn’t frameless unlike my previous car. Does anybody know if this was just part of the spec from factory or if the previous owner has changed it?
