Direction of New X-Men movie?

I’ve been thinking about the new X-men movies a lot for last 55000 years and am curious if you guys think it will be an all new story, a blend, or bringing a classic story to life like Inferno or late 80s Claremont stories that everyone complain about ? Krakoa seems to make a lot of sense as it covers a wide span of books i have not read, let alone looked at

I recently read they are going with lesser known, possibly younger actors to save on costs. That makes me think we’re going straight up 90s, like when Scott Lobdell, the famously unproblematic guy was writing the series even though he was from sales and had zero experience.

here are possible list of directors i can see ass future X-Men director

Wim Wender

Kiyoshi Kurosawa

David Fincher

Paul Thomas Anderson

Christopher Guest

Francis Ford Coppola

Terry Gilliam

Anyway, thought I’d ask because it keeps coming to mind. Thanks, community!
