best 2nd choice automatic camera (other than TG7).

I know the TG-7 is pretty much the way to go for that kind of camera, but what would be your second choice?

I'm asking because the TG-7 is pricey for the little I will use it (700 $CAN) if new. I've notice other that seems almost as good for 400-500$ (eg Ricoh). These price are what I would pay for a second hand TG-5, maybe TG-6. Best I found is a TG4 at 300$. But, at that point, I'm wondering if it's not better to get a new camera that will be as good (if not better) than an older TG.
