Character building

How do you guys usually build your characters?

Personally, I have a method that probably isn't the smartest. I usually try to get good artifacts first, then weapon leveled up, then character, and finally the talents.

Realistically speaking, I know that leveling up the character and weapon first is probably better since those are permanent stats upgrades and not rng and luck based, but for some reason I always feel like getting artifacts first.
