What started as just quitting a habit quickly turned into the hardest emotional, mental, and physical battle of my life. I wasn’t prepared for how deep this would go 😬
The anxiety, overstimulation, head pressure, waves of fear, the isolation. Some days I don’t feel like myself at all. Some days I wonder if I’m even healing.
There have been tiny wins - moments where I’m calmer, more grounded, able to be in places I couldn’t tolerate weeks ago. But the hard days still come. And today’s one of them. I’m not sharing this for pity. I’m sharing because I know I’m not the only one walking through the long, gritty middle stretch of recovery.
If you’re out there fighting too - especially if you feel like no one understands , I see you. You’re not alone. This is hard, but we’re healing.
