really at my wits end with Wordpress - websites breaking for 5th time in a few months.

Every week there seems to be a new update to an addon, or my theme or wordpress, which means either my newsletter signup fails (customers keep emailing me telling me of the failure) or the page layout screws up.

Completely at my wits end with this, am I supposed to be testing my sites every hour to make sure they are working fine - this makes no sense me? Is this what wordpress is like and do I need to find something better?
