my ex is getting married

hi all,

my (24F) ex (26M) is getting married. We had an 8 year long relationship that ended a year ago, and he started seeing his now fiancee two weeks after i moved out from our apartment. I was heartbroken at the time but over the last year, i did alot of work on my personal life and i am definitely “over” it. I don’t miss or want him back by any means, but I do miss the friendship I had with him and his entire friends and family. When I heard the news, I didn’t feel a pit in my stomach like I did when I learned he was seeing someone new. The only thing I felt was “I’m so behind in life” but it was short lived and that feeling passed through me after a few hours. After sitting with this information for a day, I’m just looking for any comments or advice in case I’m doing something “wrong”. To be honest my only goal in life isn’t to settle down and get married but I do want companionship, ideally with someone who is on the same frequency as me.

Context : I have dated but unfortunately I do not connect with most people on dating apps. They feel too surface level and we just don’t share the same interests. For now, I’m no longer using any apps and instead living life to see when it happens whenever it does.
