My tongue piercing may be infected.
I´ve had my tongue pierced 5 days ago. It is a titanium jewwlry, it hasn´t been downsized yet. On day 4 I woke up with it bleeding and my piercer told me it was normal and part of the process but a white thing started to grow up since and now its solid and kinda big, I tried to remove it with a q-tip and I couldn´t, is if it were a part of my tongue. I´ve been taken care of it, just eating soft cold food (like ice-cream, cold smash potatoes with milk, milkshakes) the only "bad thing" that I ate once was a tuna sandwich that had soft bread and a lot of mayo on day 3. I´ve been brushing my teeth after every meal and using a mouthwash without alcohol (also one with clorhexidina when I wake up and before going to bed).
Right now I can´t contact my piercer because it saturday night, i will visit him on monday, but i´m freaked out and if I can have any info., answers or tips to solve it or figure out what happened will be very helpful. I apologise for my english, it isn´t my first languaje, I hope you could understood what i ment. I will be ataching photos form day 4 and day 5. Thank you all.
Extra info. My piercer it´s considered the best in my town and cheked my anatomy before piercing.
