I got an ending but I'm so confused
This is my Ship Log. As you can see there are things yet to investigate in Ruptured Core and the Vessel.
Although I am not sure what I missed in The Vessel, there were two large boards and a recorder.
In case of Ruptured core, I could not reach it yet due to ghost matters in the tunnel. I used scout and found a safe route to be down in a central area with a large downward pit but that itself has lethal amount of ghost matter. I saw a platform slightly above it and found no other exit yet. I am searching for it and not asking hint for it in this post.
I took out the warp core from the Ash Twin, inserted it in the vessel empty core place and inputted the coordinate I learnt from Probe module in Giant's deep core. This warped me to eye without the 22 minute time restriction it seems. Then I went to South pole and jumped into the distortion following the signaloscope, then everything got bizarre. I seemed to be teleported to the Timber Hearth Museum and then gradually collect all instruments. I could understand that the game is trying to hommage my full journey. Gradually the sequence ended. But I actually did not understand what happened, there was a white explosion and an image after the credit suggesting 14.3 Billion Years have passed. The image suggests our band players there.
So I have following questions:
- Is this the true ending? I expected requiring data from all planet to get ending, here interloper seems as good as an optional content.
- Are there multiple endings? Solanium suggests collapsing multiple possibility to one, so could it be different.
- I actually started with Echoes of Eye installed and never searched distinction with base game in fear of spoiler. Now can you give hint as I might have reached an ending.
- No achievement got unlocked. There is an achievement for ending the loop (Alive) with taking 1k damage and reviving, but there is none for completing the game?
