I regretted coming out - the guy on the football team
Hi. Sorry for not responding to more. I'm very grateful that so many responded. I think I'll keep this account going and be part of the sub. You seem like a good set of people.
I went to the match. The manager allowed me in the squad. I walked in with the captain, who had said he was going to help. He said let's get one thing straight I don't like you. We never liked each other.
We went into the changing room, and the captain started mocking me and calling me stuff. I snapped and put him against the wall. He laughed and he said to the squad we need this type of aggression on the pitch. You're a bunch of girls compared to him.
I did start on the bench. The captain started playing with the other team. Like he was on our team but tackling our players, attacking on our goal etc. The manager was fuming and the captain said to put me on otherwise he'll keep playing for the other side (I'm not sure if that was a pun).
I was put on. Anytime a player refused to pass to me and I was open, the captain would play for the other side again until they apologised.
We lost by a bit haha but it was only a friendly. The captain went in afterwards and told the group he wants to win. He said I give aggression to the team which is needed so people need to get over themselves.
We have another friendly next weekend, so let's see.
