Trying to trace my Italian grandfather Benito in 1968 Vancouver – I have the address, need archives or records

Hi all,
I'm a Danish man trying to trace my grandfather, Benito, who was Italian and lived in Vancouver around 1968. I have the full address from that time.

I’m now looking for help finding archives or historical records that could tell me more about:

• Who lived at that address in 1968
• Property ownership or rental records
• City directories or phone books from the time
• Immigration or census records mentioning a man named Benito (Italian origin)

I’ve already posted a related photo in r/whereisthis, but now I’m looking for more detailed historical research. Any advice on how to access Vancouver records from Denmark — online or by contacting local institutions — would be amazing.

Thanks so much for any help!
