Cost of hair complaints

I have been a hairdresser for almost 30 years and this is the most we have seen products cost. It has pretty much doubled in the past 3 years. As much as we would love to charge you guys cheap prices for your hair, we would go out of business doing so. $225-$400 is standard for 2 1/2 to 4 hours of work (plus cost of products) Balayage is a tedious technique that takes more time than the traditional highlights. The purpose is so they grow out well so you don’t have to keep going back into the salon every month for a retouch like you used to. For the amount of money you’re saving in between color, it should balance out to be the same but spending less time in the salon. Unfortunately, the cost of living has increased and this is the new norm.
