Paranormal horror with a fluffy romance

My two favourite genres are romance and horror and I'd really like to read some books that combine both in a way that doesn't include the MMC being a stalker, killer, rapist, whatever. I'm looking for a fluffy, swoon-worthy romance in a horror setting, preferably paranormal or gothic. The relationship can be a bit angsty, especially in the yearning department, but definitely shouldn't be abusive. Ghosts, vampires, demons, etc. are all greatly appreciated on the horror side. The eerier, the better.

I'd love to read something similar to the fanfiction A Length of Ribbon by furiedheart. (https://archive.transformativeworks.org/works/6591901/chapters/15080131) It's an older one but I still think about it a lot. The protagonist inherits a haunted mansion but doesn't have to face the ghosts alone because there's a sexy groundskeeper. The story is mostly about the development of the romance and the haunting provides a spooky edge, which I really like. Something similar would be fantastic.

I don't care about the MCs' genders or what time the book is set in, it's all fine by me. Bonus points for a setting by the water (ocean, lake, etc.), lots of pining and a slow burn. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!
