SBI Manager forcing to take SBI Smart Elite ULIP to assign Locker

In my Area, most of the SBI Branches we visited doesn't have a Empty Locker Available. Recently in nearby Branch, one Locker had got vacant. And we came to know about it when we went there to enquire about it.

But the thing is the Manager is asking to Opt for a ULIP Plan of 2.5 Lakhs per Year, where we have to pay a Premium for 7 Years, and it has a lock-in period of 5 years.

ULIPs are anyway shit, and this is too expensive just for a locker, it is almost Rs 18 Lakhs we will paying for a Simple Locker in the next 7 years.

What can be done in this case? Anyone can please help genuinely with advice?
