Battle of hydraulic Cues: Allez vs. Endurace Allroad?

Looking for an economical, relaxed geo drop bar bike to putter around with my daughter as she learns to ride. Hydraulic brakes are a must. Two new bikes seem to fit the bill - the Canyon Endurace Allroad, and the Specialized Allez.

Both retail at $1,499. Any reason to choose one over the other? For example are the Alex Rims on the Canyon any better than the Axis Sport rims on the Allez?
