3% Fee via Venmo?

I asked my landlord about paying with Venmo (so that I could use my Bilt card, although I didn’t mention Bilt by name)

She was open to it and looked into it - after looking into it, she said she’d have to pay a 3% recipient fee to take it via Venmo, so she’d prefer Zelle.

Is this true? Or is there some special arrangement with Bilt? If the latter, is there any documentation I can point my landlord to to assure her she wouldn’t be responsible for such a fee? Thanks!
