No, I don’t forgive you.
You know who you are, I didn’t think I could survive no contact with you, but here I am, two months later. As I step out of the pile of grief you left me in, I have started to think more clearly. Here are my thoughts for you. You never deserved me, or my love. The home cooked meals, where all your macros were tracked, thoughtful notes that I sent to work with you, the YEARS of my life, the home that I built for us was wasted on you. Even when I had nothing, it was yours. I put my life on hold in hopes you’d catch up, but as you had proven time and time again, you were up to the task. I’m so disappointed because you had so much promise. You treated our relationship like you do everything else that requires your effort, you wiped your hands of it and said it wasn’t your concern. So no, I don’t forgive you. I hope my absence haunts every single breath you take. I hope everything you see reminds you of me. I hope that in 5 years your apathy towards us keeps you up at night. With whatever love I have left for you, You know it’s me.
