Selling old bike, need advice
I have my brother’s 2016 Bajaj Avenger 150 street. Its not running, needs battery replacement and repair costs are upwards of ₹10k. I want to sell it but re-registration is an issue since bike is registered in GJ, im in bangalore and my brother (who is the legal owner of the bike) is in Pune. The GJ RTO is not ready to provide online NOC for reselling, travelling to GJ and then to Bangalore would cost a lot. Im planning to scrap the bike, how much can I expect to get? Any other ways of selling the bike? I have booked an RE Meteor 350 and the showroom buys only KA registered vehicles and does not provide any scrap certificate benefits either.
What are the best options for selling the bike. Some parts like the Odometer is broken (clocked about 25k kms). Re-registration will cost a lot due to travel and time related issues for my brother. Can I expect at-least ₹10k from scrap? Do you have any good contacts for the same in bangalore?
Thanks in advance!!
