Help choosing a character for my first playthrough

Rogue Trader: Builds

Hi! I'm looking to start my first playthrough and I'm having a bit of a hard time deciding what character I want to use. I've played quite a few other (mostly DnD-based) cRPG's, but I'm not familiar with the Warhammer universe, and the number of options and mechanics are a little bit overwhelming.

That said, I've at least decided I want to use the Arbitrator origin. I'd also like my character to be able to deal decent damage itself rather than only buff its allies.

Which of the following options do you think would offer more interactive gameplay and be more fun? (I know “fun” is subjective, but I’m curious what people think.)

A Fortress World Arbitrator (Vigilant) Soldier
I'll probably use a shotgun and shield and choose the Bounty Hunter as my second Archetype. I've always been partial to ranged characters (such as Rangers) in other games, and this seems to scratch that itch.

A Forge World (Subskin Armour) Arbitrator (Subductor) Warrior
I'll probably use a melee weapon (something that works with The Steady Hand of Justice) and shield, maybe Heavy Armor, and choose the Arch-Militant as my second Archetype. I like the idea of a mobile and tanky warrior who can still dish out some damage.

A dual wielding Arbitrator (Vigilant) Warrior
Wielding a one handed melee weapon and a shotgun at the same time sounds fun. I'd definitely become an Arch-Militant, but I'm not sure if it'd be best to start with Fortress World, Forge World or maybe another Homeworld for such a build.

If you’ve played these archetypes before, which felt the most engaging? I’d love to hear your thoughts before I dive in!
