Was told an interview cycle will be expedited (and given specifics, unusually enough)

So, place is a venture cap firm that originally asked me for SAT scores, CPA scores, and uni GPA. Outside recruiter I work with smoothed over the SAT question bc I'm 25 and don't have access to the scores anymore. Invite was bc "interesting background". Being already bilingual and also studying mandarin long enough to start taking proficiency exams prob helped.

Anyways, interview was Thursday and they promised feedback this Monday. Also, they promised to have the recruiting cycle take 2 weeks bc I'm actively interviewing elsewhere and near an offer.

So, what's up here? I've never gotten concrete numbers for "we'll go fast" before.
