AITAH for driving in the middle of a large motorcycle group?

This afternoon, I was driving down some country roads and came to a stop sign. I was looking to turn right, but saw a group of motorcycles driving by. Halfway through, there was a large gap in between the first half of motorcyclists and the second half of motorcyclists, so I made my right turn and the remainder of the bike group was behind me. Of course they all started tailgating me and 1 by 1 they each passed me, even though there were double yellow lines.

Fine, whatever.

Then, once all the cyclists were in front of me, this psycho SUV decides to cross the double line to pass me as well. As they do, all the riders in the car had their hands out, flipping me off.

Then… they come to a dead stop in the middle of the road, blocking me. I try to drive around them to the left, and they turn left to block me. Tried to drive on the right, and they turn that way to block again. Very cool.

Then, this woman hops out and literally stands in front of my car to prevent me from going anywhere and starts waving on the traffic behind me to keep going. All the while, she’s shouting “DON’T EVER SPLIT THE GROUP!” while I just start laying on the horn.

(I wish I started recording them, but my dumb brain didn’t think of it in the moment.)

They finally decide to drive away while continuing to flip me off.

Anyway… was I the asshole deserving to be pulled over by a bunch of hillbillies?
