Ethiopian and Eastern Orthodox

I’m currently a non denominational Christian but interested in groups that are not westernized (especially the influence of enlightenment philosophy) and emphasize the supernatural and even mystical parts of the faith. I’ve attended the local Ethiopian Orthodox Church, after hearing that they also study texts like 1 Enoch and Jubilees, believe in angels and demons and visions and that exorcistic prayers are normal. But the language barrier may be too high, since they mainly speak Amharic. I’m wondering how different in practice the Eastern Orthodox is from them. Or if you have experience in this area I’d love to hear it too.
