Portuguese couple moving to Switzerland (french part)

Work

My boyfriend and I are planning (both portuguese) to move to Switzerland (to the french part) in October. I have a degree in HR Management with 2 years of experience in HR/Recruitment and he is a cook with a degree as well with 4-5 years of experience in good hotels. I've already started to learn french (I only know the basics of the basics).

To be honest, I've already read some questions and comments here and started to get worried. We plan to move to Switzerland not only for the salaries, but also for the quality of life there in general - Portugal is no longer what it used to be. We are both open-minded to having jobs that are way different from our studies to start. For me, an honest job will always be a job.

Will it be hard for us to have a job? We have a good amount of savings for this purpose. I'm not afraid of culture differences, language differences or anything else - just on finding a job really, I think the rest I'm ok with the struggles.
