Completing a 2 night gap for my trip

Hi All,

I’ve got a 2 week ish trip in Japan coming up… And I’ve got the following agenda; Tokyo->Karuizawa->Nagano->Kanazawa->??->Tokyo.

I’ve had some suggestions like Takayama, Hikone, Nagoya/Gifu.

I’d love to hear your view on where to stay for 2 nights from 7th to 9th of October. If you have any other recommendations which fits nicely into that agenda do let me know.

I’ve been to Kyoto/Osaka/Hakone on a previous trip!
