GE refrigerator ice dispenser

We have a GE fridge, with ice maker/dispenser on the left side. It came with our house. Since we moved in, the ice maker has worked fine, but the dispenser doesn’t dispense water or ice. The motor for the ice dispenser doesn’t appear to work, but that wouldn’t explain the water not dispensing. Anyone have any ideas?
