Changing room assignments?

I’m a rising sophomore and have already picked a double room next semester, but my financial aid is looking a lot lower than last year even though my family’s income has stayed the same. I was hoping to change my assignment to a forced triple to save a couple thousand $ but couldn’t find any info on how to do that. Are there any options to switch rooms before fall?
