2013 GLI sometimes need to try starting 2-3 times

Hey all, so for about the past 6 months, sometimes I have to turn the key 2-3 times to start my GLI. It has about 113k miles and no check engine still for the past 3 years I have it. But yea recently when I go to start it, it'll crank/start for a second then shuts off again. Then when I try again it'll start normally. No rough idle, and drives smoothly still. Any idea what part could be seemingly beginning to fail that is causing this?
