Should i overclock my CPU

hey guys , hope y'all doing well , i want some advice on if i should overclock my cpu or not , i have an i7 6700k & GTX 980 ti with 16 gb ram , i had this build for a while and i know its pretty damn weak for this gen , so i wanted an advice on if i should overclock my cpu or not , note that i been having issues with cpu temps where it reaches 90 degrees on load , i play games like For Honor , Valorant , Battlefield 1 etc ... do you guys think its a good idea if i overclock it a bit for smoother performance , and will it spike my temps higher or not ? thank you in advance
