Moving to Ireland, worth it?

Hi everyone,

Need an honest opinion on whether or not moving to Ireland, specifically to work with Apple, Cork good or not.

I am currently working with a car manufacturing giant in Germany.

The offer on hand seems quite decent, with the stock refresher, but also the value of a FAANG (MAANG) on your resume.

But, from what I could gather on the cost of living, expenses, and everything else—seems kind of scary move and the base package is kind of not justifying the move. Albeit, I also see people writing in other posts considering a move even with <50k base salaries.

Any reviews on COL, Life in Cork, etc would be much appreciated.
