Android user thinking of moving to iPhone

I've had a Samsung A72 for nearly 4 years now and I think it's time for a new phone now😅

I'm thinking of getting the iPhone 16 Pro Max, but I'm not sure if now is the right time to get it. Will the price drop at all? Is this specific model any good? what's the camera like?

Honestly I know nothing about apple, so if you could just lmk everything and what I should do and when is best to buy it that would be great. thank u:))
